Ryan is a Retired US Army Major. He is a West Point graduate with a BS in Art, Philosophy and Literature, a MS in Management, Strategy and Leadership and an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill. He was a TF160th Special Operations Helicopter pilot. Ryan finished his storied career as the Military Science Department Chair at UC Davis. While at Davis Ryan developed and taught courses on organizational behavior, leadership, motivation and decision making. Ryan was asked to develop a bespoke leadership curriculum for UCD med school students to better prepare them for their roles in the field.

Ryan is working for Shelley Blackburn in Global Security Sales Engineering. His charter in FY21 incudes SEM Leader Development, Sales Comp and Goal Sheets, Budget, Headcount and Sales Recognition. Word is spreading quickly about Ryan's deep domain expertise in developing and executing Leadership courses. Several teams including Data and Analysis Advanced Analytics Sales AI and US Commercial System Engineering have aligned with Ryan to benchmark from his Leadership Development efforts.
